Refunds and Cancellations
Because of their custom nature, there are no refunds or order cancellations after Final Approval has been given.
Orders cancelled within 24 hours of order receipt are fully refundable.
Orders cancelled after 24 hours of order receipt but BEFORE first drafts have been sent will incur a $125 fee and any payments already made will be refunded excluding: materials ordered specifically for your job (like cardstock, colored envelopes, envelope liners, or pocket folds), rush fees, or custom design work. Materials ordered specifically for your job, rush fees, and custom design work arein addition to the base $125 fee.
Orders cancelled at any point AFTER first drafts have been sent and BEFORE Final Approval, will incur a $250 fee for save the dates and $400 fee for invitations and any payments already paid in addition to this amount will be refunded excluding: materials ordered specifically for your job (like cardstock, colored envelopes, envelope liners, or pocket folds), rush fees, or custom design work. Materials ordered specifically for your job, rush fees, and custom design work are in addition to the base $250 save the date fee or $400 invitation fee.
Purchasing design work through Scotti Cline Designs grants the purchaser a non-exclusive license of designs for personal use only to be printed by Scotti Cline Designs, ownership of the design remains with Scotti Cline Designs. Scotti Cline Designs automatically holds the copyright to any and all designs and services provided pursuant to federal copyright law (Chapter 17, Section 201-02, of the United States Code.)
Designs created by Scotti Cline Designs cannot be reused or resold in piece or entirety under any circumstances. Doing so is strictly prohibited and a violation of federal copyright law.
Scotti Cline Designs fully upholds the legal rights of photographers. It is illegal for us to use images that are copyrighted without the permission of the photographer that holds the copyright. By submitting the photos, you agree that you are the photographer or have received permission from the photographer to use the photos. You also agree to take full responsibility for any misuse of copyrighted images and agree to not hold Scotti Cline Designs liable for any misuse of copyrighted images.
All orders will be shipped via ground shipping via USPS or UPS. Orders to PO Boxes or valued over $500 will only be shipped via UPS. If you have a Fedex account you wish to use, you must provide the shipping label for the package and schedule a pickup at our location, we cannot ship via Fedex with just your account number.
The client is responsible for providing a safe and secure shipping address.
Scotti Cline Designs is not responsible for third party handling or delays of your package after is has been shipped. Please let us know if you would like to require a signature on your package. We do not usually require signatures on packages under $500 but it is up to the shipping carrier driver's discretion if they require one or not. Scotti Cline Designs may, at our discretion, add signature receipt to any package. For higher value packages, we strongly recommend shipping your package where you or someone else will be present all day, often a business address is best.
We will work with you and the shipping carrier to file a claim for the replacement costs if your package is lost or damaged but Scotti Cline Designs is not responsible for and will not refund the full paid price at any point for any reason. We insure all packages for the price of replacement/reprinting, not the full paid value. Loss or damage claims, if approved, will be paid by the shipping carrier to Scotti Cline Designs for the price of replacement at which time we will reprint your order. Scotti Cline Designs cannot guarantee claim approval on behalf of shipping carriers. We must receive notification and pictures within 24 hours of package delivery of damages. We have never had a package damaged, we package very carefully so our paper goods can survive water damage and rough handling. Packages valued over $250 with tracking that shows delivered but not received will require a copy of a filed police report for a stolen package before we can begin the claim process with the shipping carrier.
Address changes CANNOT be made after orders have shipped.
Upgraded shipping is available and charged at cost.
In the event of a disruption or discontinuance of Scotti Cline Designs's business in whole or in substantial part, either temporarily or permanently, by reason of fire, flood, earthquake, war, governmental restrictions or laws, pandemic, act of God, acts of the public enemy, embargo labor trouble, or strikes or other cause of like or unlike nature beyond Scotti Cline Designs' control, Scotti Cline Designs shall have the option of terminating the Design Process and/or canceling delivery of all or any part of the products or materials not yet delivered with no fee or penalty of any kind imposed by the client.
In the event Scotti Cline Designs is not capable of completing design work after design work has begun due to illness or death in the family, Scotti Cline Designs will terminate the Design Process (and refund any payment for work not already completed) OR if able and with the client's permission, refer the job to a trusted outside graphic designer chosen by Scotti Cline Designs to be completed.
Included with Orders
In an effort to help accommodate every client's budget, the following items are NOT included in our base pricing - assembly, addressing, postage stamps, inner envelopes, colored envelopes, envelope liners, or invitation send out. These items are available for purchase from Scotti Cline Designs and we are happy to add them to any order but please do not assume they have been included in your pricing unless clearly indicated as included in pricing within the product description.
